As a structure labeled by the FFVL, the Fly Millau Paragliding school offers you
patent examination sessions for all levels.
The training of a pilot within the framework of a French Free Flight School is divided into 3 levels, according to the flight passport delivered:
INITIAL PATENT ( GREEN level) It is a relative autonomy, recognized on sites practiced in school during your training. The level is issued at the second or third stage and implies flying in "school" conditions, either meteorologically and aerologically reasonable.
PILOT'S CERTIFICATE ( BLUE level) It's "all-site" autonomy in all conditions... A real flight experience and a perspective on the activity.
CONFIRMED PILOT CERTIFICATE ( BROWN level) The one that allows access to competitions and federal qualifications: club guides, two-seater qualifications, winch operator, federal instructor, DEJEPS,...
PATENT INITIAL
- Validation of the GREEN level pilot's passport
Accessible after 1 advanced course.
It certifies the ability to fly without assistance in calm conditions on a known site and with suitable equipment, the analysis and management of aerological conditions being still incomplete at this level of progression.
This initial patent consists of 2 parts:
Theoretical assessment in the form of a MCQ of 30 questions relating to theoretical subjects from the white level to the green level.
Practical assessment: generally carried out during your course by your instructor who validates the practice of the green level.
Free admission for students in training.
THE PILOT'S CERTIFICATE
- Validation of the BLUE level pilot's passport
After validation of the first cycle by the initial certificate, it certifies sufficient skills to seek information that will allow you to fly or not depending on the site and the conditions. These skills must allow the pilot to safely manage his evolution on site in moderate air conditions and master dynamic flight. It validates the second cycle.
This patent includes 2 parts:
Theoretical evaluation in the form of a MCQ of 60 questions up to the blue level, to be carried out in 1 hour.
Practical assessment: Validation of the blue level of the pilot's passport. Autonomy on site in varied conditions.
Free admission for students in training.
CONFIRMED PILOT'S CARD
- Validation of the BROWN level pilot's passport
After validation of the second cycle by the pilot's license, it attests to the competence to optimize the exploitation of the aerology of the day both in terms of piloting, analysis, respect for the rules and state of mind. It validates the third cycle. The confirmed pilot's license allows you to practice in competition and to access federal qualifications (two-seater qualification, monitor, guide).
This patent consists of 2 parts:
Theoretical assessment in the form of a MCQ of 30 questions and open editorial questions in 1 hour relating to theoretical content between the blue and brown level, with the possibility of confirmation by interview.
Practical assessment: Validation of the brown level of the pilot's passport. Overall autonomy in varied conditions.
Free admission for students in training.
